Senior Group

St. Paul’s Senior Group meets once a week in the afternoon for fellowship activities.  It’s a time to enjoy Christian fellowship by renewing old friendships and making new Christian friends as we get together for games, cards, puzzles, lively conversations or quietly reading some of the interesting reading material available in the library corner.

Activities are planned twice a month which have included sightseeing for a wide range of interests such as the Singing River Cruise on the Rainbow and Withlacoochee Rivers in Dunnellon, Tour of the Old Inverness Courthouse, visit to Author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings homestead near Gainesville, Homosassa Butterfly, and Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala with Marion County Civic Chorale concert.  Each outing usually involves a nice luncheon at an award-winning restaurant nearby.

All outings are the suggestions submitted by the Seniors of the congregation.  Future plans include a trip to Two Tails Ranch in Williston, the Holy Land in Orlando, State Parks and much more.  Guests and visitors are always welcome.

To check out the planned activities, please view our calendar on the website.
